Wine tasting Provence : You can choose between 2 different tours according to your time, budget and wine knowledge :

Tour # 1 : 1/2 day (Not always possible on saturdays and generally never on sundays)The wine route tour starts at 2:00 pm finishes at about 7:00 pm. Visited wineries may vary according to availability of owners.

Stop at a winery in Vacqueyras Le Clos de Caveau, producing organic wines rated 91 by Robert Parker. These wines have won a gold medal at the Paris trade fair (most famous award in France for wines) Tasting of 3 to 4 wines and explanations on organic wine making. 	Stop at the cooperative winery of Cairanne on the wine route of Provence to follow the "5 senses course" (Guided explanations). Commentary and wine tasting of 6 different wines produced by this AOC Cotes du Rhone Village cooperative (explanation by a sommelier) See full details at page bottom.
Wine tasting and visit at the Château Saint-Esteve in Uchaux producing AOC "Côtes du Rhône Village Massif d'Uchaux" Excellent "viognier" white wine. Wine tasting of a minimum of 3 different vintages.

- Back to le Mas at 7:00 pm : wine tasting (blind test) of 3 different "A.O.C." of the area : Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône villages, Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape, etc...(Wines may vary slightly according to food served).

- Gastronomic dinner at le Mas served with an elegant "French touch" : porcelain plates of Limoges gilded with gold sheet, Baccarrat crystal glasses and silver cutleries massive. The dinner comprises one entrée, one main course, cheese and desert and is entirely home made. All wines tasted previoulsly are included.

- Cost of Tour # 2 : 250,00 €/pers. (minimum 2 persons. Maximum 6 pers.)

THE 5 SENSES TOUR (included in tours #1 and #2) : A truly unique oenological concept and experience set in a real winery: the "sensorial Parcours" , or wine sensory tour is an educational and highly entertaining way for the public to discover Cairanne wines.
This Parcours is far from a tedious display of ancestral tools, or a very complete technical visit for future oenologists.
The experience takes place in a contemporary setting, where visitors make their way through the wine cellar itself, amidst oak barrels ands vats, as they discover the myriad facets of Cairanne, with no other tools but their own.

All your senses are stimulated... This is indeed a curious journey where, one by one, the Ear, the Eye, then Hand, Nose and finally the Mouth are king. The pleasures of the 5 senses mingle with an encounter, a meeting with a village and its winegrowers, the knowledge of a trade, the artists' vision of an art of living.
